Empowerment Through Wisdom
Our Story
Women, Wisdom and Woo - Women Wisdom and Woo : If someone asked me my favorite
words they would these, Women, Wisdom and Woo. I have since for a long as I can
remember been an advocate of, with and for Women. My earliest memories, are my
Mom lifting her fist high in the air and saying Women Power. You can do anything
Michelle! Fly! and sometimes when I needed an extra kick, “Move your ass, Michelle”.
So my love for the collective experience of women and their journey of empowerment
starts early.
To say, I love books, knowledge and learning is an understatement. One day in a book
store, my daughter once helped me understand just how deep my addiction went. She
said to me “ Mom, you caress journals and book covers”. I tried hard to defend myself
until minutes later quite to my own shock, she caught me “red” ( maybe” read” - pun
intended) handed walking, defending AND CARESSING and EMBRACING.
As for the woo ( or woo woo if you prefer) I never fit in, ever. I always remember being
on the outside looking in, even in my own childhood family. I was also the emotional
one who was always a bit, (actually quite a bit) TOO MUCH. As I got older, read : I didn’t
want doctors I wanted plants or herbs, crystals, oil and meditations. Post divorce, I went
full throttle, add plant medicine journeys, retreats, Ketamine therapy etc. There wasn’t
and still isn’t a new modality I don’t want to try.
As an author as well, when my own inner wisdom whispered to me in the wee hours the
the morning ( read 3am Witching Hour ‘ Women, Wisdom and Woo” the Podcast was
inevitable and I was doing my best to make it immediate, or so I thought. As you know
we plan and God/Universe laughs. Mid 2024 I was researching daily how to start when
my younger brother’s health took a very immediate and unexpected turn. By Sept, 2024
he passed just as unexpectedly and family is still working to get up from our knees.
Women, Wisdom and Woo is no longer an interest but my lifeline and a promise, a
commitment, FOR THE GLORY OF GLENN to take it into the cosmos in his name.
